How to create groups and manage rules

Groups allow you to manage multiple devices with the same rules and restrictions.

  • Open the Audra app, log in and navigate to the main dashboard.
    • You will see the bottom navigation bar with multiple tabs.
  • Tap "Groups" in the bottom navigation bar.
    • The Groups screen will open, showing pre-defined groups.
  • Tap the "+ Add Group" button in the top right corner.
    • A new screen titled "Set Group Name" will appear.
  • Enter a group name in the text field.
    • Choose a descriptive name like "Kids' Devices" or "Living Room."
  • Choose an icon for your group from the available options.
    • Each group has a unique icon for easy identification.
  • Tap "Set Group Name" to proceed.
    • You will be taken to the "Manage New Group" screen.
  • On the "Manage New Group" screen you will see following sections for:
    • "Assigned Devices"
    • "Blocked Categories"
    • "Blocked Sites"
    • "Whitelisting"
    • "Set Internet Limit"
    • "Set Time Limit"
    • "Override Rules"
  • Configure your desired rules by tapping on each section:
    • Assigned Devices: Select the devices you want to include in this group.
    • Blocked Categories: Choose which content categories to block from the pre-defined list.
    • Blocked Sites: Manually block specific websites as needed.
    • Whitelisting: Allow access to websites.
    • Set Internet Limit: Restrict internet access based on criteria such as Sleep or Focus time.
    • Set Time Limit: Allow internet access for a specified number of hours (e.g., 4 hours per day).
    • Override Rules: Overrides all the rules that have been defined for this group

Note: By default, all devices go into the guest group automatically.
